id like to see this race . by the way daniel, remeber that race with that hemi. well heres what he had to say about it. sorry for getting off topic. i came across it when i was browsing that hemitruckclubforum

"Got me a Chevy SS tonite. Was on the Valley, the local strip, when I see this red Chevy SS going the other way. I quickly bust a u-turn, and chase him down. I catch up to him and I drop it into 2nd gear. He has his window down and tells me (he's in the passenger seat, must of had his friend drive it) that he doesn't want to race here cuz there was a cop keeping an eye out down the street. So we ride around and finally get to a stop light. So I am in the right lane and he is in the left lane. He says alright, we'll go from here. I said ok, Go on Green. We are both reving it up to launch, I got mine to about 1200. Light goes green and I put it to the floor. He gets a slight jump on me, but it didn't even last half way through the intersection. By the time we cross the intersection, I was ahead by half a link. I hit 2nd gear hard and pull away some more. By the time I hit 3rd, they were a small object in my mirror. I slow down to let them catch up and he goes, Man! What all you got done to that thing?! I told him, I had CAI, exhaust, headers, superchips and 4.56 gears. He said, we only got headers but he tells me that he will have something for me in 2 months. He said he was goin to install a cam and a tune and he said that we would race then. So I tell him alright, what's your number, I'll call you in a few months and see if you are ready then. But what he DOESN'T know is that I am having a cam, heads, electric fan and 180 thermostat installed in about a week. SO grin while i save his number to my phone, as SuperSlow Chevy. I will call him later see if he wants to play some more! "

Ahh shit&#33; I don&#39;t know where he got that I had headers at&#33; Damn he made sound horrible&#33; Just to clarrifly, he didnt beat me by near as much as he said he did. Plus I had 450 pounds of extra people in my truck. Ohh well. As soon as I get my headers, cam and tune. Hopefully when incometax comes. It should be pretty even. Remember hes a reg cab. But I think his truck has a salvage title to it also, he had a bad wreck and thats how he got a custom paint job. I aint seem him since around town any. But Ill let yall know next time I do.

There are 3 different races, one at the track , one on the street, and one on the highway I never said I had the fastest at any of the above.....


Seriously, come to San Antonio Raceway when the LugnutZ are there and we all can have some fun

Sounds like a plan to me. Maybe we should all have a meet in waco. I know there a 2 so called "badass" hemis here. I would love to see everyone smoke them.
