Damn that sux Alton ! Did the drive shaft ruin any thing? Im going to replace my u-joint too. Is there a HIGH STRENGTH U-JOINT available for our trucks or should we just go to NAPA? BTW, Did you break it on take off?

I remember my days when I had a 73 Chevy 4x4 with a 350 4bolt that came out of a street modified dirt race car. I broke every u-joint on that truck at least once going through cast iron u-joints like a hot knife through butter.
I hear some guys are going to a much larger u-joint and yoke on the rear end. Anyone know what they're talking about? Is maybe it a yoke from a 2 ton truck or something?
