    Ext cab driveshaft upgrade anyone ?

    What are you ext cab guys running for upgrades driveshaft since there 2 piece ? Did u upgrade both or convert to one single shaft ?

    keep the two piece!

    or if you want an upgrade, 1350 ujoints and a Driveshaft Specialists two piece.

    I upgraded my factory with 1350 u joints and have laid down prob 650hp on nitrous and its held just fine.

    Junkyard 5.3 milled heads 200 shot, built 4l80e with circle D 4000 multi disc converter

    Mine came with the one piece 5" alum. It is a 4wd though so its not as long as a 2wd driveshaft in an ecsb.

    upgrade both shafts to DOM tubing with 1340 billet joints. Try to stay away from conversion ujoints if you can, 1350 on all four corners of the ujoint. Swap the rear end pinion joint for 1350 if you don't have one already, my 2007 GMT900 worktruck came from the factory with 10 bolt and 1350 joints through the whole shaft and rear end.
