I will also be taking it on the highway since it'll be my DD till I can pick up something else for a DD, so what gears would y'all recommend? I was thinking probably 3.90's but I'm not certain.
Future mods include a Vinci Trucker cam and a Yank 3200 and wayyyy on down the road probably a turbo.
Or would y'all just recommend that I rebuild my 4L60E?
Thanks in advance fellas

I run a 30" tire with USA standard gear 4.10's and a True Trac from Ron's and I love it. Highway mileage did not change a measurable amount and in town mileage increased. I am starting my 80e swap within the month with a 258mm Circle D 3600. Why not just do the converter now to not hassle with changing it out later? Even stock engines benefit greatly from a stall.

this AWD trans will be getting an 80 when it gives up the ghost.
60e is 0.696 OD and the 80e is 0.75 OD. So if you're at 2,088 cruising at 65mph with the 80e you will be at 2,250 rpm's.
