I haven't had any experience with it, but I know a few guys who have done snowmobile pipes and they're doing good. Still looks good with all the moisture and salt that gets plastered on them.

after some research & asking around, a guy on another forum told me about a place not too far, worth the drive, that will ceramic coat them inside & out for $175. they said they can add a thermo barrier for another $100. best part about it is they need some signs & stuff so we'll be working a trade.

    NICE!

They say how much heat the thermo barrier will take care of?

coating inside will also reduce the inside diameter some and usually dont lead to a smooth surface. id do the outside only. my turbo headers are coated and there holding up so far, ive seen the entire header glowing red and still in decent shape

are yours just ceramic coated or do they have a thermo barrier?

ceramic coat the outsides is $175, add the thermo barrier to inside & out is an extra $100. i'm thinking scratch the thermo barrier & just get the ceramic coat on the outside.
funds are running out very quickly now, all the nickle & dime stuff is adding up quickly.
