have you personally seen any of this? plenty of ppl been doing this with no side effects, yet this is being posted of it going gooy. If yrs of use dont break it down then what are we talking 10 yrs? 5 yrs? what? 3 yrs for me in the past and it never became gooy, and 3 yrs now with the earls hose either...

Down fall it's spendy, and only in 1ft lengths.
The normal efi hose can turn gooy and can swell. Down fall not really designed for intake use. But it's cheap.

Now if it rupture inside the tank no harm no fal unless u lean out and burn an engine up. Causing a back fire that catches the truck on fire burning it to ground. On the dyno catching the building on fire burning it to ground. Just a possibility.

Yes I have seen this happen three times. Over the last 9 years of builds.
One hose left a black residue in the tank.
    One hose burst
One hose burst and was slimy when I pulled it out.

It happens that why the hoses have different spec.
For an extra 4.00 per foot cheap insurance. ?
It's not just the hose. It's the types if fuels out there.
Different blends different parts if the country.
    Alcohol added etc.
