Everything is hooked up and ready to start. All accessories come on. No signal to the starter? Also, remote locks dont work. Did we f'up the VATS? Anyone else had this problem. I've heard it could be the "body control module". Any input is appreciated.

Was the VATS disabled in the tune from Allen? I think he does that in most tunes. Do you just need a security relearn?

I talked to your mechanic today, it's not vats. It sounds like an open wire or something along those lines. He said not only the new pcm does it, but the original one does the same thing, so it's not pcm related. The pcm that was in there should work, just like it did before.
Low battery, starter wires, fuse, relay, etc. Was all that checked?

looking forward to you coming down, i want to see what that thing does on the dyno!

good luck and call if you have any questions,

Did he try a jumper wire on the starter? Maybe the starter chose today to crap out.

We jumped a wire from the relay under the hood. The big fuse box. Starter bumped off. We tried a new relay, no. The problem lies between the key and the relay box right? Which leads me to believe it's a security problem. Neither the new pcm nor the old one will work. So it's not in the tune. GM tech said it's prob the security sys. He's gonna check it out tonight.

GM Tech said it could be because the battery was disconeccted for too long and the security lost its memory. They are coming out to re-program it tonight.
