he said?

Here's my truck in it's present state.... It goes under the knife this weekend. I'll swing the old motor and trans, clean and paint as much as I can of the frame suspension etc, then hopefully drop the 5.3 on it's mounts before I go back to work Tuesday if I have no mount or clearance issues. (This Sunday is not for working on cars...) Let's see if I've figured out how to include the pic of my truck.... I don't think this is going to work as it would not preview.... ?

New to this site. I drive a 2003 Silverado SS. I've had it three months now. I love it. so far i've put a hypertech power programmer, 40 series flow master, and a FIPK kit. I'm thinking about getting the power tune from nelson performance. Will i really see the difference compared to my hypertech?

    Welcome.

If it weren't true Nelson Performance would not make a dime. Everyone would own the Hypercrap tuner. They base their tunes off of factory specs and people change all kinds of items that you cannot correct for with the Hypercrap tuner once you replace stock parts for performance parts. Plus Allen has probably done a whole lot more individual tunes of GM trucks and Fbodies than they have. He knows what works and what doesn't. They are busy developing tunes and tuners for the entire market. Nelson is focusing on what he knows and does it well.

From what i know there is no comparison. Hypertech is a cookie cutter program. Red is totally right on what he is saying. You get more for your money from a Nelson tune.
