I have a 2000 s10 and am wondering if the tcc wire off my 5.3 harness needs to see 0 volts then 12v when hitting the brake or opposite. I read the sticky but not to sure if you see 12 or 0 volts when brakes are appplied(brake switch)

93 ECSB...lq4 6.0 swap, 255 walbro,cai, ported tb, shorty headers, 3" exhaust, tune,electric fans, NX wet kit 100 shot, 2/4 drop, beltech shocks, boss 335 22's, 295/30/22...looking for a cam.

thats right 12v-brake off hummm not to steal the thread but im wondering if thats why my engine trys to die after about 30 min of running??? i don't have it hooked up now

rammor02 did you rework your own harness or have someone do it for you,, (yea ol browntown)
Yeah I reworked my old harness on the 6.0 swap, and on the 5.3 I swapped throttle bodies and harness so I wouldn't have to worry about the DBW and pedal. The s10 with the 5.3 is a work in progess but is close to complete...well rolling anyway
