Got a new problem I need help with. DAMMIT!!

So the other day I started my truck using the remote start. After about 2 minutes of running, the idle did something goofy. I hopped in the truck and found my check engine light on and the display showing "Reduced Engine Power". I disconnected the battery for a little while and when I started it again, the engine light was still on but the truck seemed to drive normally. I took it to Auto Zone and they pulled 4 codes for my Throttle Position Sensor. After the scan the engine light was off. Now the other problem. While driving, my wife noticed the passenger side A/C (manual duel climate control) was blowing hot air while the driver side was blowing cold. Would this have something to do with the reduced engine power issue or something else? I called the dealership and they said it sounds like an actuator solenoid might be bad and not allowing it to switch from hot to cold and vice versa. Please help because they said it could be a 1 hour or 4 hour repair.

make sure the tps is plugged in. you can take it off and see if it springs back like it should. If not, see if anyone has one laying around.

AC sounds like the blend door is stuck. Easy fix, manually push it to cold now, and to hot in winter. Or try to find one out of a boneyard. Never changed one, not sure how hard it is. My truck has never came off cold in the 3 years I've owned it lol.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the tps since it drives fine and the engine light has not come back on. Oh yeah, you can't just buy a new tps. You gave to buy the whole throttle body.

Since you say the battery was just disconnected, that makes me suspect the reset procedure needs to be done on the blend doors.

Thanks for the info guys, but I traded in my 04 Monday and got a 2010 Silverado. Now I don't have to worry about anything for quite a while....except what I want to do to the new truck. LOL
