think they were to short. Didn't think about the gap from the guide plates. But the company gave me the wrong tq specs, when i tightened this one down something felt funny so i backed it out and back again it seemed fine appearently not. I went to summit and bought a pr length check deal, so I'm goling to try them once more. This time with 25 ft lbs instead of 60 on the stud

wow, what a crappy design. With the way those studs are designed its surprising the rockers will even rock back and forth when the bolt is tightened down. Maybe the washer was supposed to go on just before the rocker is installed to give it some clearance? The nut on the stud looks to be hitting the rocker.

you're only suppose to tighten the rocker to 22-23 ftlbs if i remember correctly.

yea factory stud is 22 ft lb. I had to remove the heada to have it pulled so it lead to refreshing the top end and cam lifters you know. I still have the rest of the old ones i might take it to summit and see if they can match it up to something they carry. It's the only thing i can think to do other than buy another set from prw. but since summit carries studs like this i figure it's worth a try. Poly locks and rockers are still in good conditions, luckily nothing else broke when it happened. I would like to get them back in because when they were working properly you could tell unfortunately you can tell when they break to. i'm not putting the company at fault just the dumb ass tech that told me the tq spec.
