thats an execellent platform to start building on, is your what year model is your 6.0? it doesnt have the iron heads does it? deffinitely worth spending the dollars on for a quick truck

theres always gonna be disappointment specially if you just throw parts at it without really knowing what works and how it works. i'm not saying you done this but 90% of the people that start modding these heavy ass trucks, really dont have a clue what there getting into nor how to match parts to parts to make them perform
i read alot of B.S. but i also talk to the people that know
specially before i make decissions, dyno pulls is a valuable tool when building a quick truck !! then theres the decission that needs to be made about how far one wants to go with there build, i have thousands in my truck to get it where its at.. maybe not near as much as a blown or forced induction truck but with a little nitrous it will hang with the BEST, it takes more then just a motor to go fast specially in the 1320, its every part of the drivetrain, from front to rear..

your hopes are easy to achieve, dont give up you'll get there easier with a 6.0 then with a 4.8
theres alot of quick trucks out there, loaded or not its all in how you go about doing things that makes a difference
