How many has the tb I6 converter?

How many of you are using the tb I6 converter? And how well does it hold up behind a stock 5.3?

I found a brand new one and it is 175.00 and thought it was to good to be true. I figured with my luck (That is really not that good anyway) it wouldnt last and would mess up and then I would be out tranny and converter.

I have the one that is worked over by Circle D and it's held up great so far behind my LQ9. I can't comment no a stock I6 converter though.

I had one and they are great behind a motor with a stock or small cam but they do start to suck behind a big cam.
They drive like stock and pull outa the hole way better than stock and you dont lose towing capacity like the aftermarket ones.
The one I had stalled at about 2600 behind my 5.3.
