I found a harness from a 2002 silverado. What all do I need to take out for my 98 chevy conversion? I know the standard stuff but i'm wondering about at the huge fuse block. Do I need the whole fuse block or can i wire it into mine? And if I don't need the fuse block can I disconnect it or do I have to cut the wires at the block? thanks.
Somebody needs to document how to do this someday.
You don't need that huge fuse block. Snip away.
You might want to label what fuse the wire came from, it will help you tell how to power it, switched or constant 12v. Pinks are normally switched and orange wires are normally 12v constant on.
