    so youre saying sounds like a cat ?wouldnt it run better if the cats were blown out rather than clogged?does this hve 2 cats or just one on the original exhaust?its stock ,i really havent looked at them.yes its stock so it has the original converter 160k on it.should i just cut it off and see,or would i be better off pulling the manifolds off the block to see?

    What is the truck described in your sig? No, pull the pipes off the manifolds and retry. Yes, it's likely you have a plugged cat at 160K. It would run better with hollowed cats. It has two, one for each side. The LH side (driver's side) is more common to stop up. Why? Longer piping? I don't know.

    The truck in my sig is mine ,this is the wifeys everyday driver (03 escalade),and im hearin it too,lol.she took a 300 mile drive and as soon as she got home and pulled in the driveway it started this running like crap,b4 that it really had no issues and has ran well.thanks.thats exactly when it happened after her trip.

    prolly not since it is all on one side of the except for the #7 misfire. i would try taking the exhaust off the pass side and see what happens like gas said.
    '00 Silverado, '98 Trans Am, and a couple other toys.
