I will try and get video tomorrow of mine. I have the 22" dual in/out and I love it! Its just right volume to me low rumble at idle and a good somewhat loud and deep roar at WOT. At 70 you can't tell I exhaust from the inside but that's more because of my exit pipes.

Does anybody have expierence with eithe of these mufflers or possibly any other quieter muffler?
I have dual 3" exhaust all the way from the manifolds. I stacked two 14" Magnaflows on each side. This did the trick plus smoothed back pressure at the exhaust manifolds (expansion chamber effect) which increased exhaust flow slightly. Costly yes, but the results were a perfect sound and better flowing exhaust. I have pics of the system. If you would like to see them, send me an email address and I'll email them to you. Unless I can post them here. Haven't tried that.

Instead of switching to one of these many glasspacks, why don't you just switch to one of Flowmaster's quiet mufflers? After looking at their website, it appears that most of their mufflers are actually pretty quiet. It's only those 40 series mufflers that are loud. Check out Flowmaster, Inc The Muffler and Exhaust Technology Company manufacturer of performance exhaust systems, mufflers, exhaust kits and look up their 70 series muffler. From what I can tell, it should be almost stock-quiet on your truck, and apparently you won't sacrifice any performance at all.
I'm thinking of trying one of those 50s for my '97, since it also has a 40, and is pretty loud.
