    how bout my dad is goin to buy a nnbs ecsb tomarow at the stealership. I guess he's pumped on the 0% stuff that he just wants to buy something. They all got the 4.8s though

    You couldn't pay me to buy a 4.8L powered truck again. 0% interest isn't enough money to drive a turd.

    For a grandpa truck it might be fine but stock, they don't tow for crap, they don't pull a hill without downshifting, the fuel mileage is good but not worth it, might as well have kept a V6 in them.

    That's a tight converter especially with the big wheels. For that cam I'd go 3200-3400 but 3000 could work in a pinch. You'll be pretty boggy around town until you put a looser T/C in.

    ok Im on the track at least. thanks for all the help guys. Oh and my did is a grandpa and drives like one too. that 4.8 is probably too much for him.lol
