    bypass plug for a oil pan

    I bought a truck oil pan for my motor swap and its missing the bypass plug, if anyone has one please let me know thanks.

    bypass plug? Can you take a picture of where its missing so we'll know what you're talking about? There is a plate that bolts on and returns oil from one passage to the other if that's what you're talking about.

    im guessing its called a bypass plug but heres a pictures to give you a better idea. its the two holes above where the oil filter goes.

    im looking for a older one because in your post it says it can no longer be tapped. i plan on tapping the plate and running my stock oil pressure guage from my 82 c10.

    i bought one not to long ago and plan on tapping.....look on summit that have those blocks with multi ports on them for turbo apps and also for oil coolers...all you have to do is plug the holes you dont plan on using
