The difference between winning and losing, is having a 2nd stage.
In the vid, it was an iron 347, about 9:1 comp and a cam that wasnt that good for the combo. With the right cam, it had more in it, especially with some tweaking.
I put the other motor in it before I sold it. Its a 6.0 block out of an '07 Hummer H2, stock 241 heads with Patriot springs, 232/236 113 cam, and a 3200 Vig stall. I knew it would be a good combo, but sold it before I had a chance to find out. Dink is making a good showing with the truck and I think its got a sub 7.0 1/8th mile in it with a few adjustments.

ya sway bar helped a lot. and ive ran skinnys once on the street, my friend let me borrow his of his 86. and i loved it. the feel, handling lol or lack of handling i mean. i just kept thinking... "holy **** my rear brakes barely work and im riding on a 6 inch tire and weigh almost 4,000 pounds" lol
