No hard feels Moze. I really was not aware of the issues you had going on here until the PM you sent me last week about the servo. Keep in mind I talk to many people and can not remember every situation. I talked with Chuck and Andy about the PM and they had said you had called a few times. I actually did not have all the facts straight when posting as RedHeartbeat pointed out to me. I apologize for being out of line if that is the way it was taken. I take a lot of pride in my work and sometimes it gets the best of me. I hope things work out for you. Vince

I was in error too by not being fully aware of 3-4 & low/reverse clutch pack mods made in the name of extra holding power. There is always more than one way to skin a cat and stock isn't always the best way.

I really miss the 4l60 !!!!!!!!! ALOT less converter Drama.... Sorry about your Luck Moze but next thing that should be check is the Tune.... make sure you dont have Crazy pressures and Lazy shift settings..... add alot of stain of trans thats useless
That's one of the first things he mentioned he was going to do was check the pressure.

What do you mean by converter drama? I was thinking of going to the 80e since I seem to be at the limits of this transmission.

Chuck and Andy were both extremely helpful over the past couple of weeks and again, I don't think any of this was FLT's error and I hope I haven't conveyed that. You guys build some bad@$$ transmissions and I have absolutely ZERO complaints about this one.

Nothing about an 80E is cheap.. HD yes.. I am picky on things my converter drama is what i call it because i cannot have the best of bolth worlds running a turbo truck..... Unless you have i would think a 4l80 converter is at least 3,000 range.... I have thought about selling mine and Going to a turbo 400 with a REAL converter......

Talked to the builder and it looks like the wrong valve body gasket was used on the case side. I'll blame it on me - I probably handed Greg the wrong one.

No way! Thats just not right. How could I mess that up? There are only two gaskets in a set and the one we were supposed to use had a white stripe on it if I remember correctly. Emmit!
