Has two finger tight bolts and a jack holding it in. Just have to disconnect the cooler lines which I'll do when I have another set of hands to help lower it.

bypassing the heat exchanger in the rad does work well for a drag vehicle or play toy. since it stays cool and isnt run very long. going thru the heat exchanger keeps it warm cause of heatfrom coolant.

if you daily drive the truck with the heat exchanger bypassed then it will cause issues since at idle there is nothign cooling it off so temps rise and keep rising in traffic. I had bypassed my heat exchanger and used a fan on my transcooler to help cool it and this did work very well. i used a Temp probe to turn on the fan at 160*

using the heat exchanger allows you to have trans fluid be cooled some when at idle cause of the fluid going thru the rad.

so depending on your situation bypassing or going thru might work or not work for your particular needs

Tomorrow if that works for you. Vowed to spend the evening with my wifey. I plan on skipping the wedding too, so I can cart it up to Greg's Saturday morning if need be (if I can use the Tahoe). Unless you want to go to that would be cool.

And the pan is drained monkey.
