    yeah, its the last three numbers of the part number on the PCM. Your PCM is going to need tuned no matter what, at least to turn off the VATS, rear 02s and various smog option such as the fuel vapor solenoid, plus tuning for tire sizes, gears and anything else that is different than stock. I'm not sure but there shouldn't be any reason it can't run the old 60e. I don't think it will last long though.

    yeah i figured get rid of all the emission crap and vats, just wanted to make sure it was possible.
    I did a search and found people using the lt1 4l60e on the ls1, so im assuming it works.
    Oh and yeah i know it wont hold very long, but just wanna get it rolling for now. I only have a 90 day warranty on the engine and want to hear it run and make sure i have gook oil psi.
    93 ECSB...lq4 6.0 swap, 255 walbro,cai, ported tb, shorty headers, 3" exhaust, tune,electric fans, NX wet kit 100 shot, 2/4 drop, beltech shocks, boss 335 22's, 295/30/22...looking for a cam.
