Who told or where did you see only 10psi can be had?
I thought you could only pulley-down to a certain size to reach required amounts of boost? Yeah, the Vette front jackshaft drive and its front inlet TB mounting lets you X2 OD it like you are saying... Nobody has told me that only 10 psi can be had--just assuming that from the truck TVS design and that fact that you one can only buy down to a 2.6 pulley?? And that would put you ~10 psi? Only guessing--but I bet you could have a smaller pulley made. How small of a pulley can you go and it still be feasible/reliable? With a smaller pulley--it would create higher internal blower temps--which older Maggies have been criticized before--but the new TVS systems are suppose to be more efficient and run cooler, but if temps get to high, Meth can be used to cool those down...

We did a low compression 383 with heads/cam, we only got 10psi out of that one. We had the largest crank pulley made and the smaller charger pulley installed, oh well.

Update on the Tahoe: This install sux!

    Got the wrong heat exchanger
    Got the wrong valley pan
Charger bolts are too long to bolt the charger down
Charger inlet elbow hits the coolant lines

When this sh!t happens, you spend more time running around town than actually working on the truck!

We should be done with the charger today, got the heat exchanger, valley pan, picking up some bolts and the TB oring. We'll dyno, then cam install.

    We'll keep you updated,
    allen

Doesn't it seem to be that way no matter what you're doing? I have that issue any time that I work on something. Its worse when you buy something for a Silverado that was designed to work on a Tahoe and visa-versa.

Yeah, I was figuring you would only be able to get about 10 psi out out of it... What was the smallest pulley you put on there?

Sucks to hear about the install! We all get those snags...I feel ya on running around more than actually working on it...
