alright heres the update. so some buddies came over sunday night and we put the bed on the truck and took it for a few rides. well needless to say its pretty discusting. with the stock gears it gets 4th gear rubber and at roughly 70 in 6th gear it luggs so i need my 4:56s in the worst way. to be honest im a bit afraid of how its going to go after they are in. im not used to a v8 and this truck gets 4th gear rubber now.... the clutch is really tight. and it goes awesome! i busted my rear u joint last night so i bought a bit beffier one. so hopefully it holds up. i still need my intake, traction bars, lsd, gears, and a few other small goodies. but i am soo happy with how it turned out. the motor is silent doesnt tick or anything and the corsa sport sounds discusting. ill try to get vids tomorrow for ya'll. its hard though every gas station up here stopped selling 93 so i might have to travel with a few 5 gallon cans to get some.... and start storing it at the house or something.... oh and my neighbor already flipped on me haha. he's a dbag anyways... but i am overly happy. thanks to everyone who helped! its not done yet but nearing the finish line...

When you get the LSD installed you need to drive over to the neighbors and do so doughnuts/brodies in his lawn.

haha oh yes greg i cant wait for that auburn hes getting a nice set laid down right in front of his house. maybe ill back into his driveway. the guy yelled at me for drifting my tacoma in the snow at 1 in the morning saying that there could have been kids in the road... there is a total of about 5 houses on the road i was on... hes a total jerk... and i was in my house first. he just moved in a few years ago posted the 4 wheeling trails etc. he deserves it. he asked me if i s*** where i ate lol I JUST LAUGHED IN HIS FACE... i hate killers of fun.Originally Posted by RedHeartbeat

yeah I hate killers of fun too. when I got the turbo I laid two fat strips in front of my house where my parents live. Well the neighbors across the street didnt like that, but I couldnt hear them yelling at me over the sound of my turbo

okay guys so heres an update. i put my auburn (thanks GREG) and my richmond 4:56 gears in my truck this weekend. the stock gears were 3:07's so you can imagine the difference. it feels like twice the truck and absolutely hauls ass! i gave my buddy a ride up the street then around the block to warm it up probably about a half a mile then went back by my house on the straight stretch and barried the speedo in no time at all... well we turned around at the 4 way and headed back just cruising along and i happen to look up at my neighbors house on the hill when i went by and her crazy ass was running down the hill in her night gown with a shotgun!!!! so i pull the truck in the garage tell my other buddy his ride is going to have to wait. hop in my other truck and go the long way to the auto parts store. they left in his truck and went by her house and called me and said she was standing behind a tree with the gun waiting.... i couldnt even believe it. and all this time i thought that because i lived in the country id be fine but evidently not... crazy B****.... if she shoots my truck or me i swear it will not be a good day...
but on a good note truck is running great and i really want to get a video up but my camera is out with the g/f for the week ill do my best to get it up when she comes back. i have pretty much ALL of the wiring cleaned up and it looks great! i have a car show this weekend coming up so hopefully the v-6 to v8 change gets noticed haha. thank you for everything guys!! i cant get the grin off my face when the truck breaks loose my 285/30/20 drag radials when i shift 4th gear... its amazing. i only wish i would have done it sooner! wouldnt of been possible without yall! only thing left is the fuel gauge to fix! and i need my intake and traction bars then i can just enjoy for a while!
