    R&R a tranny in our trucks is pretty intensive, but if you've done enough of them, you get the hang out of it and can do it pretty quick...

    Like I think I said earlier in this post somewhere, Richard is a retired GM mechanic and before he retired he had the rep. for being one of the best transmission guys in the area. Yeah, I felt really good about the total bill.

    When is the last time you changed the oil ? Some people never change the transmission fluid .

    I bought the ride used in December. I'd planned on having the tranny serviced but before I could it went out. I hate to have that happen and I hate to spend the money but on the other hand now I know it's in good as new shape or actually better, and I don't have to worry about that damned 4L60e anymore.
