And what does one of those cost you? For the same money you could buy a new GM, do a few mods and blow the doors off it and have an American vehicle keeping more US dollars in the US. Yeah, I know, many of the dollars will go out of the US but a larger percentage stays here.

I agree greg, but now I have to look out for these on the street. That is kinda fast for a toyota... but i guess a reg cab silvy with a ls2 would be faster.

yeah but look how disgusting they look. I mean I dont see any kind of exterior mod that could make that truck look any cooler. Other than dousing it in gasoline and throwing a match on it

I will always prefer Made in the USA! I don't care what the media says, I know my GM product is better! Whenever I buy anything I always look for made in the USA first, especially tools. Unfortunately that is getting harder to do. Toyota can keep making their commercials, about how tough their trucks are, but I still won't believe them.

Problem with the toyota its fast stock but it'll be just like the dodges hard to mod and no tuning software available. TuRD is making a supercharger for it, you could put intake, exhaust, and possibly headers in teh future, all that would net you a high 12 second truck but thats all you would be able to do to it.

and its dual over head cam

if they made a loppy cam for it, that would empty your wallet fast

i love the people that drive them. they are so typical. they always want to race and think they are the best. when me an my brother were driving on the 35 one night a new chevy truck and a new tundra were going at it. at the time my brother was stock and lost to both but the chevy beat the tundra. a few weeks later he met the same chevy again an blew the doors off him with the hyper tech. he hasn't seen him since the nelson tune.

Well for all the Made in the USA people, the New Tundra is made in San Antonio, and im not trying to start a war.

I think the performance is pretty amazing for a bone stock truck, a bone stock hemi reg cab dodge can only do a 15 flat.

But you take a reg cab 08 Silverado, with the 6.2L L92 and the 6 speed auto and even the 3.42 rear end and it will be a mid 13 sec truck all day long, and look better doing it, and get better mpg and when it comes time to start modding, there is alot left in the truck.

I priced a reg cab tundra with the 5.7 and a 6 speed auto, and with just a mid level trim was 25K sticker, and im sure dealers are marking them up.
