i have the stock lq4 heads off the o6 lq4 ,i cant really move my alt position because my s/c is designed too go into it the s/c came with whole front bracket i had tooo reinstall my power steering pump into it though.i mean with my f/i setup is it even worth doing a intake t/b swap?i saw some awesome heads for a great price tday and thought humm ,i wonder if that would help also.my object here is too squeeze all h/p i can out of the boltons ,soo when i do and will blow my motor ill just reuse everything i can on new badass motor.thatll bee anather thread[new motor].

I "if I were you" would get the carb style intake and the intakeelbows.com elbow with 105mm TB. I would also put 300 hp of nitrous on the stock motor and blow that joker to hadies. Then Large Cubic inch aluminum motor.

i actually have the same s//c setup as he does.that is a sweet ride though hes got some quality stuff on there i bet he did his research!mine top end is almost identical except for the intake setup.i feel like i dont know what im doing too do that kind of intake setup.deleting stuff and thing like that seems difficult .in the long run that thought did cross my mind too use the intake and elbow,plus it looks cool .anyone know how too do this or have any threadson how to do .im only concerned with what too delete and stuff.i can do the work.

o im not reeeally looking too blow it that quick its a 06 motor .i just know its inevitable.if i was in a hurry id raise the rev limit and board it too the rd.lol.not saying it wont happen.lol

Silverado SS .com has tons of info and 04chase is there all the time. I think he would chime in there to answer any questions. Quik is also on there and I am sure he could tell you how to do it.
