    lexus is350 cant quite hang

i had just dropped off my son at preschool and hit a stop light, when a beautiful silver Lexus came flying up braking so hard the nose was almost scrapping. i knew this fool would run. when the light turned red, we both straight punched it and were almost nose to nose. i was creeping past him, by 70 i had him at my back door and then it shifted into third and i thought it would slow down like my silvy does but it didn't, i guess the 4.10's must help alot. anyway, by the time i hit my seed limiter 135, he was at my rear bumper. he let off just a split second before i hit my limiter. i went home and looked up the specs on this car. and they have a 3.5 v6 little over 300hp. 0-60 in 5.1 quarter in 13.7. they have a 6 speed auto. i was very very happy with this. i had a notion that i could pull off somewhere around a 13.7 in the quarter because my friend goes to the track and runs 13.7 almost every time and we run nose to nose every time we race.

Nice Kill! I'm assuming you were in the TBSS. He kept up with you off the line?
I have been putting atleast a car length on everything off a dig(charger r/t, C6 vette, srt10 Ram truck, n a few mustangs) so far, not to say C6 and srt10 didn't drive around me after... some gave up after that. Charger r/t was an off duty cop didn't find that out till he caught me at my turn trying to figure out what I had.(I took all emblems off)

the is300's are no joke, so im sure those 350's arent too bad either. one of my friends had a 300 with full exhaust, and then he traded it in for a lotus, but his 300 hung with my roommates bolt on 350z so yeah. those lexus' dont mess around

YellowDemon--what is an IS400? I don't think Lexus made a 400. They started off with the original model as an IS300...then the new model comes in two flavors: IS250 and IS350. The 350 is one bad mofo, IMO. Jester--good run on the thing! Those are freakin quick! But it does feel kinda poopy knowing some V6 powered car kinda matched paces... Not to rain on your parade! But a word of advice: stay away from the hi-po IS-F... 5.0L V-8 (416 hp) and 0-60 in 4.2 and 1/4 in 12.7 @ 114... Yikes!
