If you don't mind the short drive up to Arlington I am sure TRT has some good blocks or complete engines for an awesome price.
What are you up to now?

I have a 5.3 bare block that is in great shape, still has cross hatches in the cylinders. Im using it for mock up on a friends 96 S10 were putting a 408 LQ9 T56 in, but will be done with it in a few weeks, and if he wants it, im willing to meet halfway between houston and austin. Make me an offer, not really sure what they are worth.
