    Maf Screen???

    I wanna port out my throttle body and also heard some people talk about taking the screen outta the there MAF. Is that pointless or actually help and not make it run like ****?

    i wouldnt do it. I heard it actually stabilizes air flow. I also heard it is there for a reason ie tohelp the sensor read the air. I
    could be full of sheet though. lol

    No your probably not, i heard that to but then i heard it helps. Probably the best thing to do is just go aftermarket.

    I would leave it alone. I have a granatelli, and Allen at nelson performance had to reprogram it, because all it does is mess with the codes. He said that they have done tests and cant prove that it actually adds any thing. He said all that they can prove is that they mess up the codes. If it is free take it( mine was) but dont waste money. Plus it will probably mess with your tune.

    A descreened MAF sensor will cause you to run very lean and can lead to damage to your engine. Do NOT do it unless you have a tuner ready to update your tune as soon as you install/descreen it.

    the tune he has is probably lean as it is, any leaner with nitrous is risky IMO
