    Welcome

You need a cam, headers and tune to get into the 14s. That should be a nice start.

There is alot of different cam specs that fit different needs or wants, it just depends on the direction you are going on. As for tuners im clueless up in Ohio. But you could always do a mail order tune from allen nelson.

yep what they said.... i was running 15.3-.5 all day long....

went and got me a cam kit from Texas-Speed : comp cams 220/220 581/581 112+2 (came with dual springs, retainers, pushrods and cam)

got some long tube Pacesetters with the Off road Y

then got a tune from Allen Nelson

first time out pulled a 14.8x ...... but i have to have some of the worst 60ft times on the planet...

if i would have just a posi unit i could be in mid-low 14's no problem.... if i got taller gears and posi and stall for my trans, i can alomost feel 13's....

this is where im at and sounds like your in the same boat i started in...

Well the first thing I would do is throw the hypercrap away and get a custon tune from Nelson. Then Longtube headers, Cam, Stall. The will get you to the 14's easy.
