as i was looking around on the fastest truck list. and alot of the trucks that were trapping between 95 and 97 like mine does regularly, are running low 14's and a handful of high 13's.... well so far my best was something like a 14.9x with a 2.60 60 ft ... i know that is a horrible 60 and needs some definite attention. but even with that high of a 60ft im trapping what people are, that are almost a second faster than i am

im lost and dont know what i need... besides getting rid of the 1 tire fire

well, if others get a 1.6 60' time and you have a 2.6 60' time, you're already behind by one full second. You have to get that 60' time down by adding drag slicks or radials, a higher stall convertor and like you said, get rid of the one tire fire by installing a posi/LSD unit.

at our speeds, for every .1 (tenth) drop in the 60', you'll see about 1.5 tenths on the end.

you just need to get off the line better, E.T has everything to do with take off, but you HP is up there., good run.

Off the line acceleration is everything in the 1/4. Like my 1/8th I hit 89MPH but the 1/4 is 109. That is only 20MPH in the second half of the run but almost 90MPH in the first half. My 60' sux too so don't feel too bad. Most of the NA trucks in the 12's cut a 1.60ish 60' but only trap around 100MPH so that shows you how important launch is. What your times tell me is your truck has a good amount of HP but is traction limited. BTW good run!

im sure you already knew this alan, but cutting the light isnt going to improve time for the overall 1/4. The tree just gives you practice from those races from a dig on the street

MPH is a direct reflection of HP... you have the same power they do just not the starting line skills yet that comes with practice then the time will drop...
