my right side tail light isn't working properly.. or at all for that matter. i've checked all bulbs, replaced all bulbs and still disfunctions.

i did a little trial and error with them this evening and i've noticed the only way they'll work correctly and function properly is if i have the brake pushed. otherwise, the rightside doesn't light up at all, besides the reverse light.

only thing i can think of that might have caused this is when i was reinstalling my rollpan after sanding/priming, i had accidently touched the two license plate bulb wires together which burnt up the bulb. may that have shorted something else out??

another thing i was contemplating is the pcm.. might that have anything to do with lights? i'm at a total loss here and i can't afford any tickets, OR LIGHT BULBS! i think i've spent over $65 for new light bulbs just trying to figure this out..

all these problems i've been having lately make me want to sell the bitch and buy a 10-speed bike.

    thanks, brad

Check the wire at the connector for voltage and at the socket. check for any cuts nicks or scrapes in the insulation. If you've still got the problem Sunday, maybe we can check it out at the track.

from what they said, "someone had switched different sockets to the wrong places, and light bulbs were in the wrong sockets." although, no one has ever touched my tail light sockets and/or bulbs, so i don't know what REALLY happened. but also, i don't care either! they fixed it for free and hadn't hassled me about anything else.. i'm happy.

now if i can get this new rollpan installed the right way this time!
