Track Time Sunday

The guys from SSS.com were nice enough to invite some of the Chevy brethren to a GTG at the track this weekend. Had a great time. First runs on the 20" wheels. Appear to have slowed me down a couple tenths but pulled my best MPH's ever.

12.73 @ 105.6

On a side note, how'd you get Don Knotts to shoot video for you? (shakiest hands in the west)

I can&#39;t complain about the video. Glad to have it. One of the participants sons took video of all the action. First time doing this kind of thing I think.

Thanks, does launch well. Good weight transfer and the 4wd doesn&#39;t hurt , hardly turns a tire over. Think I should be cutting a tad better 60&#39;s times. Gonna change shocks out, stiffen it a bit. Might drop it a tad, might help the 60&#39; a little. Stop the front end lift some and put the torque to work moving it forward. There was an SS there turning all 4 over launching on a 125 shot.

Wow 105mph is some serious HP. Yep gotta get some traction going and should have enough to carry 12&#39;s.

Thanks Tim, got the performance side bout where I want it. Gonna start putting some time into the show stuff now. Really considering getting rid of the pewter accent. Going solid color and dropping it just a smidge. Other details from there.

Hahaha, no not idol. I&#39;m putting together some plan on 11&#39;s. Might not make it with this engine and tranny combo. Adding 4.10&#39;s, NOS and exhaust cutouts to the wish list.
