    looking for a golf cart in TX. Prefer electric, less than 5 yrs old. Apparently you can beef these things up to run 30 mph with just a few hundred bucks.
    2013 2wd Z71 6.2 crew cab

    Old Truck: '04 Chevy crew cab stroked/bored 6.0 to 408ci. forged internals, patriot 68cc stage 3 heads (11.1:1cr), comp 244/246 .600 115lsa cam, 3000 yank tc, built 4L60E, walbro 255, 60# mototron injectors, pacesetter lt's 4" single no-cat exhaust

    best time 12.93 1/4 mi @ 103 in the turbo truck.

    Golf cart? I want to see some numbers from the fodo. Is the transmission bulletproof yet?

    got a gas powered one here in waco, BUT im holding on to it. were aiming at hitting around 40 with it in the next few years. right now it tops out at 18mph.

    most of them go 12-13 stock. 40 in a gasser is attainable with the right gearing.

    well, about a year ago we got the truck beside it and it showed 18mph on the speedo. thats stick too, need to get it fired back up and switch some gears around.

    why on earth would you want to beef up a golf cart. Do you want to piss off the golfers by doing a burn out down the cart path. <--"Actually that would be funny"> Go for it. I want to see pics of the golfs throwing there clubs when you do that.
