Is Kennedale 1/8th or 1/4 mile? I keep seeing 1/8th on here, but a kid at my work said it was 1/4. Has a Mazda Protege he said runs 10 seconds. So he's either running a quick 1/4 or a so-so 1/8th...

It is a 1/8 mile track unless you count the additional distance past the timing lights. The timed distance is 1/8 mile.

It is a very popular place even though the track is no better than Denton Dragway.

Thanks Red. Are there closer 1/4 mile tracks than Ennis?

Wednesday is the day to go. Not so many kids and less people.
Thursday is not great; ton of people and crap track prep.
Friday isnt bad either.
Its just 1/8th mile. Moze, your buddy is just dreaming about a 10 sec Mazda.

He was saying the track was a 1/4 mile and I asked him what he ran it in and he said 10 sec. I was thinking, dang that's pretty good. Now I just want to line up next to him.
