good idea, but a local guy around here has told me that they don't do too much for these trucks, and possibly more harm than good. i dont know though, just word of mouth...
i had this exact same one on my sts right after the turbo...huge gains with it open instead of going thru the tailpipe....

Stupid question of the day...if you're running TRUE duals, you would have to have two cutouts, one before each muffler, correct? And if you were running a dual in/dual out setup, you would only need one, just prior to the muffler?
Are there any downsides to these? Seems like some pretty good advertised gains for the price.
Maybe my questions are answered elsewhere...haven't searched yet. If so, sorry...!

The only downside i might see towards this is you take the backpressure off the motor. Am I mistaken or are motors suppose to have some sort of back pressure?? I may be wrong. I know in Allstar55566 had his 4.3 we took the exauhst off and it ran like shit.Stupid question of the day...if you're running TRUE duals, you would have to have two cutouts, one before each muffler, correct? [/b]i can sell a ketchup popsicle to a lady in white gloves. come on what do u say?
I have one on my truck right before my Borla. You probably don't gain alot if any HP, but if you like a loud exhaust the QTEC is the way to go.

ok, so why did Bud8 have good results and bulldog didn't? Does the turbo come into play?
I'm also curious about the back-pressure question...
i'm pretty sure the turbo had alot to do with bud8's results.
