ok so im finally gonna do it.... im gettin the truck molded and shaved.... doors will be shaved and roll pan will be welded in, dents taken out etc etc

here my delima...... ive been lookin into gettin a sir micheals roll pan with lights in it or just a steel roll pan.... if i get lights then the tail lights will be filled in as well, but i just can decide if i wanna go that far... yeah it looks nice but would it be practical?? also do you guys like the look of filled in tail lights im on the fence and could go wither way with it...

my truck has the full front/face billet grille on it with no embles.... so if i went with a roll pan and lights it would be one of these 2... what do yall think??

roll pan 1

or

roll pan 2

the only thing about the 2nd one is it says nothing about back up lights and i wanna remain street legal and somewhat safe

lemme know what you fellas think.... Oh and dont worry go fast goodies are going on too

i think a sir mikes with a center license bracket without lights would look best. have you checked out the light strips that you put between the pan and gate? i think that would look best

i think if you go for the practical look of everything shaved and just a clean roll pan. you could even get maybe third brake lights if you actually wanted lights on the roll pan.

i agree to that.. here is the strip that has all the lights you need... light strip with back up lights ...
and to recomend a shaved door setup..go on e-bay and type in spal shaved door and get one of those kits...i had an auto lock setup and had problems with it all the time..this kit works great and you dont have to wire any relays..its all built into the receiver which makes it real easy.. good luck man..it will look nice

yeah ive seen those and i like em... but i dont what the quality of them is and how long they would last...... if i went that route they have a sir mikes pan with just backup lights around the license plate that i like that looks like a vette....i guess thats always a 3rd option

vette style

the vette pan dosent look as bad as the others to me, but the smoothe still looks the best IMO. do a search over at gmfs for those light strips. theres one brand out thats great quality and not priced too bad, i just cant remember

I second that on the auto-loc. Those things are soooooo weak. When they say they have 45 pounds of pulling force they are talking about English pounds (currency) from your bank account. Thats about all they can pull. My Grandma has more pull than their actuators.

Check out the roll pan I have in my sig..... I'm kinda partial to it. Clean but lights up only with brakes.

If you go tail lights shaved you need the perfect look.

yeah ive already gotten the door poppers and cylinoids in place... theyre hooked up through my alarm system already on the truck....... i do like that fire and ice light bar idea...... although i would kind of like to place that in the middle of the tailgate...... something a lil different than having it sit between the tailgate and roll pan......... ok wow now i think i know what im gonna do

a light bulb........ go with a smooth rollpan with the license plate and then have that fire and ice led bar in the middle of my tail gate?????? eh?? ehh????

or am i just crazy?
