    Is there a place on the vehicle somewhere that gives that info?

    wouldnt yours be 3:23s? i think mine are 3:08s. someone posted a big thing on here about all the gears in our trucks. i think it was red or squirrel.

    Just curious...Yank's website supposedly tells you the best converter for your truck based partly on your gears.

    ALso, and this may sound ignorant (because I am) I assume mine has the 4L60E tranny, but is there a way to confirm?

    Crawl up under there and read what is cast onto the side of it. It will say if its a 60 or 65. All you have to do is listen.

    haha well i dunno you put alot of things on here that are very useful, and this wasnt too long ago. maybe a couple of months or so.

    btw, when did they actually start putting in the 4l65e into the trucks? do those come in the HDs?

    as far as i know, regular half tons still come with 60Es. the vortec maxx/vho, escalade, SS, denali, H2 have the 65E. the 6.0 HDs have the 80E. the duramax and 8.1 have the allison.
