I am currently doing research to convert my 1993 C1500 4.3 V6 to an LS series V8. It appears you will have to fabricate or purchase a set of motor mounts. Belive it or not JC Whitney is going to offer a set in the near future. Shipping date is stated as 8/10/06...Check out the following site for some interesting coversions www.hpsalvage.com/projects.htm. Good luck on your swap...let me know how your doing....

Whitney's a little late to join the parade. Street and Performance has had them for years. Hooker and Transdapt also market them. You can buy steel sets for like $38 off of Ebay or you can make them yourself for about $5 worth of material and about 4 hours worth of time.

well maytbe if someone figured out the problem and we got it fixed new threads would not be created. if u see most threads have 150 views and maybe 2 replies, and that's kinda rediculous. i mean if people dont know they could help look or something, but its all good cuz redheartbeat uve been fantastic! i wish everyone helped as much as u!
