Here are my best timeslips from my 1st trip to the strip after my conversion. These times are on my Toyo Proxes tires, the only difference from my sig photo is I removed my tailgate. I couldn't stab it out of the hole, I had to gradually mash it to the floor. What do you guys think? I think I could definitely use a Nelson tune, but I've got traction problems as it is. Sorry the pics are so big!

Your times are where mine are supposed to be.

Good times there. Get the tune, you won't regret it.

    Which one?

Transmission is apart and I am gathering parts to repair it again. I am trying to decide if I want to go with the new ZPAK clutches or the BorgWarner 4L65E 3-4 clutches. If I go the the BW setup, then I have to decide if I want to go with 7 frictions or 8. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. Also, I have been advised to convert the electronic transmission fluid regulator with a vacuum module. Many performance builders are using them and Dave at RockOn highly recommended it to preserve the life of the 3-4 clutches.

Installed 7.450 pushrods to see if my valve train noise goes away. Found one of the pushrod holes in one of my heads was wollered out from a bent pushrod some time in it's past. That same valve stem shows some odd wear. I'm hoping that won't be causing me an issue before too long.

Sweet runs man. Do you know many of the local truck racers out at the track? I was wondering if CORNBREAD AND CUPCAKE still run there trucks. I know Cupcake was suppose to be building a nova now instead of his 69 chevy truck.

Nice times and not too bad 60'.

Thanks GMC. My 60' has alot of room for improvement, since I can't stall it up or even let it flash, I have to sorta roll outta the hole, hence the 1 sec. R/T's. I can't wait to try it with some slicks & my 3.73's.
