Will a sl1 or any 6.0 mount up to a 5speed without any mods. If not what mods need to be made????

The 99-00 6.0L will bolt right up minus one bolt hole. All the other LSx type engines will require a spacer for the flywheel. I don't know about the starter engagement, though. Surely it works without issue. A person would have to measure the diameters of the starter rings. I used the 4.3L 5spd clutch, flywheel and pressure plate on an LT1 conversion but had to use the V6 starter because the LT1 starter was too different.

You can always upgrade the clutch. I'd be glad to be able to destroy one. My V6 clutch held up to the 93 Corvette LT1 without issue and I dogged the hell out of it.

I think it was factory rated at about 315 plus it was tuned and had headers and the fuel pressure increased a little bit to fatten the fuel mixture up. It was an almost stock Corvette 4bolt with only 8k on it when I bought it. I put over 100k on it and then pulled it to put the LS1 in. The LT1 is now in my bud's truck and still going strong over two years later and he's done a lot more to it. He can't keep a 700r4 behind it for some reason. I guess I'll build his next one for him just for the fun of it. The 93 was pre-electronic internals in the transmission.

Sounds nice! Hey I am in the process of swaping a LQ4 6.0 into my Reg. cab 2003 silverado. The only mods I have on the motor is ls6 cam, pushrods and factory cnc heads. I have my 4.3 out now and am trying to get the rest of the parts to finish the swap. Do you think my acc. from the 4.3 will work on the 6.0. And my truck only has the 1 fan, should I swap it to LS1 fans. Hopefully down the road when money allows I will put a nice trubo on it. So acc. and fans???
