I am installing vette a servo on my new 4L65E tranny. I was wondering if you have to use a longer pin or is the stock one fine? Thanks

Stock is fine. Longer pin really is for drums that are turned undersize for cleanup or the band is worn.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709

The stock pin will work just fine, But some feel the longer pin is just as important as the Servo. The longer pin will keep your band ajusted to the right clearance.

If you push on the servo cover with a stock pin it will move about 1/4 inch witch is to much travel.

With the longer pin its about 1/16 of an inch.

Its only a $10 part go ahead and do it while your in there.
