    drag radial p.s.i.?

Need some help. What p.s.i. Are you guys running in your drag radials? I am running 275/55/16 m&h racemasters, truck tips the scales at 4500, has 3:73 g80. I have been running them at 25lbs and the hook fine for 14.7 pass, but the 2 times i hit the n2o they just go up in smoke. I know these tires will hold for high 12 pass because i have seen them do it on my buddies old truck. But he has absolutely no recollection of the p.s.i. He was running.

04 ecsb 5.3- perfectly tuned by Nelson perfomance, Pacesetter longtubes, 100 shot n2o from NX, cold air intake.
03 rcsb charbroiled (race truck eventually)

never had luck with a DR that low on psi, alway liked them up around 18-22 psi. if i had spinning issues i made adjustments to suspension or launch technique

ive seen a 235 radial go low 9s.... just cause someone else has done something on a certain tire doesnt mean you can. so since the tire is capable and its still not happening that points towards the suspension. you cant always just bolt on some sticky tires and expect miracles to happen. it takes more than that

Why waste your money on a drag radial when you can just get a full slick and there will be no excuses

You can't roll slicks on the street when it rains. It's hard enough with D/R when it rains.
