    The darkside, kinda

I have been driving my truck a little over a year now, and recently did some much wanted performance upgrades.

Now my truck is a 2006 2500HD with the 6.0l. I originally wanted a good work truck that was off road ready, but now I want a work truck that is a highway hauler and drag track destroyer.

I have a nelson tune on the list of needed modifications, but I was wondering what everyone would suggest for other parts (cam, torque converter, heads, etc..) and what else I should try for more power, as wells as anything I should avoid that isn't going to work.

    Thanks Guys!

Next part is up for debate

You will waste a LOT of money doing bolt ons, to only run minimally faster. Unless you want a NA machine. Boost/Nitrous is the quicker route to going faster for roughly the same price.

I wouldn't mind a torquey NA engine. Something that will be fairly normal maintenance but still have some nice get up and go. Is boost still my best bet? I don't want to be a record breaker, but have a truck that could smoke a mild 5.0l mustang because that's all that is around here aside from kids straight piping their ford focuses

If your truck wasn't substantially heavier than say a 1500, I would say you could be a good street warrior NA, but I think you would be much happier boosted. IDK just my 2 cents though
