Whats one more fuel system thread.

    critique my fuel system.

twin 255 walbros to -8 feed to -8 y block to each rail crossover to fpr mounted to passenger fuel rail -6 returned to tank from fpr. In my mind this should supply equal amount of fuel to each rail.
Now for the question.. Key on pump primes to base pressure of 58psi but quickly bleeds off, is it the fpr that is supposed to hold the pressure or is this normal? It makes for a hard cold start.

Is there a leak in the system somewhere? In the pump perhaps?

sounds like you didn't get the pumps that have the check valve in them. You may need to put a check valve inline. If either pump is the non-check valve pump it will bleed off all pressure.

Well Ive run these pumps previously on stock fuel lines and it didnt bleed pressure. I dont see how I Have a leak inside the tank but I guess its possible. Do the factory lines have a check valve built in them somewhere?

Yes I have an inline filter. I may have to pull that bucket out and triple check my connections. I'm using a fuel lab fpr

it's probably the external regulator, i see this in some trucks, normal.
after system pressurizes, pinch the return line, does it hold?

could also have ruptured a hose in the tank and is bleeding off the pressure.
