    Thanks Circle D and LQ9_Z71

First off I want to thank Chris at Circle D for sending me the bad ass stall. He was awesome to work with. I discussed what I wanted with him online a while back, and when I called he remembered me. He called my tuner and discussed with him what I had picked out and they both agreed that it was the best option. I went with a 258mm 3400 multidisk. It took a week to build and Chris didn't charge me until it shipped. Three days shipping and it was on my doorstep. I couldn't be happier.

Next, I'd like to thank LQ9_Z71. Without him I'd still be working on it. He got us access to a lift and all the tools we could need. That, along with his tranny knowledge (not the type Tyler has), we got the converter installed in around 4 hours. I can't thank him enough.

    Now some pictures.

And the only injury was to myself, hammering my Y pipe off.

Oh well. Anyway, the truck is driving fairly decent for no tune on the trans yet. It's locking and unlocking while cruising, like expected. Launching with Traction Control on is still very screwy. It takes off in second, then jams first at around 4500 RPM. That'll all be ironed out on Thursday. I've driven it through town and cruising and haven't seen temps over 165 yet. It's got about 50 miles on it. It'll get about 400 more before the REAL tuning.

That cut on the hand is just a little sacrificial blood letting for the car gods. Happens to me any time I put a wrench in my hand, kind of like the Japanese swords that aren't supposed to be pulled from their sheath without tasting blood.

That's nice looking work on that convertor, looks like a 4L60 convertor rather than a 6L80e, though.

Thanks Greg. Circle D did a great job. Its unfortunate that their work won't be seen by others.

cuts on the knuckle are the worst, they seem to keep splitting open. I put superglue on them when I get one, really holds them together well.
