Like the title says, where is the best place to put a turbo oil drain on the oil pan. I was thinking right above the oil level sensor and as high as a I can mount it on the pan. Thoughts?

On the front of the pan under the balancer. As low as you can on the pan. Thats where mine are. Work well... Hope that helps

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
Um, as LOW on the pan as possible? I thought the drain was supposed to be as HIGH on the pan as possible so the turbo's oil pours in to the oil that is already in the pan. I'm confused nowOriginally Posted by TurboMic

The front of the pan is the highest flat spot on the pan. If you look at the front you will see what i mean. It is still high on the level of the pan. But you just want it low on that front space so the hose wont rub on the balancer. Hope this clears it up

Ok, got it. I ended up having the welder put a -12 male bung right above the oil level sensor. That seems to be where a lot of people put it and don't have any problems. Thanks tho
