where is it? i really feel stupid for having to ask. my truck just hit 28,000 miles so i was thinkin about tryin out the seafoam.
Pop the hood and on the drivers side right at the firewall you will see the brake booster right behind the master cylinder (sp.) where you put the brake fluid in. It's a big round torque converter looking thing, sorry that's the best I can describe it, anyways you will see a hose coming up from behind the engine to it about 3/4 ti 1in. in diameter and that is the hose you want...Zed

ive got this in 2 forums so if you answered the other one dont wory about this one. im just desperate for an answer.
i did the seafoam today and now my engine puts off a vibration in the lower rpm's. you can really feel it when you play with the throttle body by hand. its annoying the hell outa me because i can feel it in my gas peddal and it makes something in my firewall rattle. how do i stop this?
i ran a can of seafoam in the gas, and about 1/3 can through the brake booster line. all of the foam in the gas tank has already ran through.
Sounds like you need to change the spark plugs if it was running smooth before the seafoam.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709
problem solved. i had a half can of seafoam left so i ran a bit more foam through. this time i revved the shit out of the engine while i ran the cleaner through, and i never turned off the motor. after my cup was empty i just kept revvin to burn it out and everything runs perfect now.
i wasnt sure about the seafoam but it really does work! this time i ran a bit more foam through and there was almost no smoke. i would have to get the motor up to about 5,000 rpm to get a tiny puff of smoke. thats in comparison to the first time i did it i had the windows down on my truck and damn near smoked myself out. it musta cleaned most of it out the first time.
