I had a few minutes to spare today, so I crawled under the truck and removed the compressor side boost reference hose and took it to the intake.
I can now stay in the throttle and it reaches about 9.5psi!!
Boost is pretty much instant, there is no lag at all. If there is, it's just the sec it takes for the trans to downshift.

This damn truck feels great! I can be rolling along at 50mph and roll into the throttle, it kicks down into 3rd and feels strong, then when I roll into it more, the trans shifts to second and it just spins the tires, lol. It feels really good though.
I just need to find a way to get traction. Those 3.07 gears aren't hurting me at all. I couldn't imagine the 4.10's still being in there. Talk about a hard launch.

My high pressure oil alarm is going off under full boost and about 4K rpms, I'm told I can just turn the pressure screw in a bit and that will take care of it, I must be getting a bit of boost creeping by and pressurizing the oil return feed line.

I almost forgot I forgot to plug up the original boost reference point on the compressor, doh, I'll plug it tomorrow.

I'm hoping I hit around 490hp to the wheels, but I'm not into dyno numbers, as long as I get my low 11sec.
I'll try to get the cam in by next friday, I also have a larger .96 housing that is going to replace the .81 housing that is currently on there. I bet it makes huge difference. I can kind of feel the truck fall off after 4900rpms or so, granted I can't stay in it long because it just burnouts out, but on the highway, I can tell.
Hopefully the cam and housing cure that.
The cam is a 23-/228-.591/.588-114 , we'll see how it works out.

    I'll keep you guys updated,

    bye,

    allen

Don't dare leave the keys hanging in the ignition while I am around or else I will be out burning the tires off of your farmtruc. I love the whistle of a turbo and the smell of burning rubber and it sounds like I could just floor it through all the gears with that turbo until the tires fly off the rims!!! You are warned.
